A cyclonic separator comprising a ring of cyclone bodies 72 and an outlet duct 61 through which cleansed fluid is discharged from the cyclonic separator, wherein the outlet duct 61 extends between two adjacent cyclone bodies 72. The outlet duct may have a first section (78, fig 10) that extends along an axis about which the cyclone bodies 72 are arranged and a second section (79, fig 10) that extends from the first section (78, fig 10) to between the two cyclone bodies 72.
