PURPOSE: A gastric inserting catheter is provided to prevent the catheter from escaping from a gastrointestinal tract and facilitate the insertion operation of the catheter into the gastrointestinal tract. CONSTITUTION: A gastric inserting catheter includes a tubular main body(11), a first opened part(14), and a second opened part(12a). The first opened part is formed at one end part of the main body. The second opened part is at another end part of the main body. Fluid is drained from the main body to a stomach through the first opened part, and contents enter from the stomach to the main body through the first opened part. Fluid enters from the main body to the stomach through the second opened part, and contents are drained from the stomach to the main by through the second opened part. A detachable cap(30) is arranged at the second opened part. A fluid injection pipe is positioned in the main body and includes an expanding part at the joint position of an esophagus and the stomach.
