<p>PURPOSE: A dye-sensitized solar cell and a sealing material used for the same are provided to prevent deterioration due to electrolytes by using photopolymerizable compositions for sealing materials. CONSTITUTION: A transparent conductive electrode layer(5) is formed on a counter electrode substrate. An air gap between a pair of substrates is sealed with a sealing material in the peripheral part of the inner side of the substrate. Electrolyte solutions(6) are sealed in the sealed air gap. A first inorganic layer(2) and a second inorganic layer(3) are installed between the substrate and the transparent conductive electrode layer. The sealing material is made of materials obtained by curing photopolymerizable compositions with a specific hydrogenated elastomer derivative as an essential element.
