The hearing aid (21) has an audio signal unit formed and effectively connected with a sound generator (64) for generating an audio signal. The audio signal exhibits multiple audio signal sections in series in such a manner that one audio signal section temporally following the previous audio signal section starts before the termination of the previous audio signal section such that the previous and following sections overlap each other with an overlapping time period, where the overlapping time period is smaller than an audio signal section time period of the previous section. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating an audio signal by a hearing aid. |
