The plant for continuously manufacturing a high-protein low-fat plant product from a press cake, comprises a fermenter system, which comprises a transport device (6) for transporting an intermediate during the fermentation and an air chamber for the fermentation, a mixing device (2) for adding mold fungus-containing material to the press cake for producing an intermediate product, a device with a unit for compressing and/or shaping the intermediate product to be fermented, and a unit for reconducting a subset of the product to the mixing device. The plant for continuously manufacturing a high-protein low-fat plant product from a press cake, comprises a fermenter system, which comprises a transport device (6) for transporting an intermediate during the fermentation and an air chamber for the fermentation, a mixing device (2) for adding mold fungus-containing material to the press cake for producing an intermediate product, a device with a unit for compressing and/or shaping the intermediate product to be fermented, and a unit for reconducting a subset of the product to the mixing device. The transport device has a continuous feed rate per meter length of a conveyor belt (4) of 0.1-1 m per day. The product has glucosinolate of = 2 mmole/kg, raw fiber contents of = 8 wt.% and reduced ethanol-soluble carbohydrate contents of = 10 g/kg, and is obtained from rapeseed oil residues that have reduced oil content by an extraction process with an organic solvent such as hexane. An independent claim is included for a method of continuous manufacture of a high-protein low-fat plant product from a press cake. |
