PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an external particle additive for electronic paper using titanium dioxide is provided to quantitively and uniformly absorb a functional group into an external additive using a solution absorbing method. CONSTITUTION: Titanium dioxide is heated for from 15 hours to 30 hours in the range of 300°C to 500°C for purification(S10). The titanium dioxide is added and dispersed in a solvent. A reaction solution is manufactured(S21). The reaction solution is heated under a nitrogen atmosphere(S22). (3-aminopropyl) triethoxysilane is added to the reaction solution(S23).
