A kit for constructing a levelling device for a vehicle such as a caravan comprises a plurality of first components 10 and a second component 20. Each first component 10 comprises a substantially planar lower surface (12 fig. 4) and a plurality of elements (16 fig. 3) extending away from an upper surface (14 fig. 3), the lower surface (12 fig. 4) including a plurality of cavities (18a fig. 4), each arranged to receive a corresponding element (16 fig. 3). The second component 20 comprises a curved upper surface (24 fig. 5) and a substantially planar lower surface (22 fig. 6) including a plurality of cavities (18b fig. 6), each arranged to receive a corresponding element (16 fig. 3). The upper surface (14 fig. 3) of the first component 10 may comprise a substantially discontinuous surface formed from inter-crossing ribs (26 fig. 3) which may be continuous from the lower surface (12 fig. 4) to the upper surface (14 fig. 3). The elements (16 fig. 3) and cavities (18a fig. 4, 18d fig. 6) may be cruciform and the elements (16 fig. 3) may be mounted at the intersection of two ribs (26 fig. 6). The first and second components 10, 20 may include angled lips (28 fig. 3, 30 & 32 fig. 5). |
