<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building panel excellent in constructibility and maintainability, and excellent in its appearance because it can neatly house wiring connected to electric equipment; and to provide a structure for mounting the building panel. <P>SOLUTION: In this building panel for a ceiling 7 or a wall, a panel body 2 is provided with the electric equipment 3; and a space portion 18 for wiring, which is opened on an outer lateral side A and/or a front side B and used for the passage of the wiring 28 connected to the electric equipment 3, is formed at the side end of the panel body 2.
