<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a required degree of durability of CVT22 becomes large by using what produces power circulation. <P>SOLUTION: A power split mechanism 20 includes one planetary gear mechanism. While a motor generator 10 is mechanically connected to a sun gear S of the power split mechanism 20 through CVT22, the sun gear S connects to a carrier C mechanically through the CVT22, a clutch C1, and gears G2α and G2β. A driven wheel 14 is mechanically connected to a ring gear R through the gears G5 and G6 and a differential gear 24. In such a constitution, power circulation occurs between the sun gear S and the carrier C by making the clutch C1 into a fastening condition.
