<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insufficient fixing and to improve image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device controller includes a first fixing part heated by a heating body, a second fixing part disposed to abut against the first fixing part, a frame to surround the first and the second fixing parts, a frame temperature detection part to detect the temperature of the frame and a control part, to control the heating body so as to control the temperature of the first fixing part. Since the control part sets set temperature showing a target value of the temperature of the first fixing part, based on the temperature of the frame detected by the frame temperature detecting part, temperature difference between the center parts and the edges of the first and the second fixing parts is prevented from occurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
