PURPOSE: A device for learning and evaluating by using an e-learning application in a smart terminal and a method thereof are provided to supply an answer input method capable of learning and evaluating problems in an existing book by using only minimized data, thereby reducing a developing period and expense of the e-learning application and contents. CONSTITUTION: An inputting unit(120) receives an input signal. A storing unit(140) stores problem data and answer data about the problem data. The storing unit stores answer input window information according to a form of the problem data. A learning evaluation controlling unit(100) generates a problem set is about the problem data and the answer data. An outputting unit(130) outputs the problem data and an answer input window.
