<p>PURPOSE: A semiconductor device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce a circuit area by overlapping a layer with a flip flop, a power supply control circuit, and a memory cell. CONSTITUTION: A power supply control circuit(10) includes first to fourth transistors. A signal processing circuit(20) includes an input terminal and an output terminal. One of a source and a drain of a second transistor is electrically connected to an input terminal and one of a source and a drain of a fourth transistor. A gate of a third transistor is electrically connected to an output terminal and a gate of the fourth transistor. One of the second transistor and the fourth transistor has a channel formed in an oxide semiconductor layer.</p> |
