PURPOSE: A protection apparatus for a welding operation is provided to effectively protect the eyes or the body of an operator during a welding operation. CONSTITUTION: A protection apparatus for a welding operation includes a mask main body(112) and a dye-sensitized solar cell panel(116). The mask main body includes a curved part which corresponds to the facial shape of an operator. The dye-sensitized solar cell panel generates electricity using dye which receives light and generates electricity. The dye-sensitized solar cell panel is manufactured by filling nano-particles absorbing pre-determined dye and electrolyte between two transparent substrates. A heat resistance transparent film is attached to the front side of the dye-sensitized solar cell panel.
