PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a steel part with high contact strength, high tensile strength, and high corrosion resistance is provided to manufacture a high-durability steel part with an environmentally-friendly method without a separate post process after heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a steel part comprises the steps of: forming a nitrogen and carbon diffusion layer on the surface of a steel part and rapidly cooling the steel part, performing nitriding or nitrocarburising heat treatment of the steel part at a temperature of 590°C or lower to form a nitride compound layer and a nitrogen diffusion layer, and forming a nitrogen and carbon diffusion layer on the surface of the steel part and rapidly cooling the steel part to form a martensite structure.
