PURPOSE: A momentum control method using a blood sugar measuring instrument having a step counter function is provided to efficiently control momentum when exercising exceeds an optimal momentum range by automatically calculating the optimal momentum range. CONSTITUTION: A selection window displays a walking mode and a blood sugar measurement mode(S10). A blood sugar measurement mode is selected in the selection window(S20). Blood glucose contents are measured in the blood sugar measurement mode(S30). Data about the measured blood glucose contents is saved in a central processing unit. The central processing unit determines a count of the limit number of walking steps for the measured blood glucose contents. The central processing unit displays the count of the limit number of walking steps on the display unit(S40).
