PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the denaturalization of wavelength conversion particles in a light emitting part or a wavelength converter by removing a gap between an inner side of a cavity and the wavelength converter. CONSTITUTION: A body part(100) with a cavity(C) is formed. An inner surface of the cavity is surface-treated to a first characteristic. The inside of the cavity is filled with a resin composition having the first characteristic. The resin composition filled inside the cavity is hardened.
