PURPOSE: An array substrate for an in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device is provided to form a predetermined angle between a common electrode and an end of a pixel area in each domain area. CONSTITUTION: An outer-most common electrode(216) is connected to a common line. The outer-most common electrode is parallel with a data line. The outer-most common electrode is formed on the outer-most portion of a pixel area. A plurality of pixel electrodes(262) are connected to a thin film transistor in the pixel area. The pixel electrodes are parallel with the data line and separated each other. Central common electrodes(265) and the pixel electrodes are alternately formed in the pixel area. |
