<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct color shift with high accuracy, while preventing damage to a fixing part. <P>SOLUTION: A control part outputs, when an input operation is made to start image formation processing, a drive signal to a fixing swing motor to reciprocally swing a fixing device in a main scanning direction (S100, S110), stops outputting the drive signal to the fixing swing motor to stop swinging the fixing device when color shift correction is started while the fixing device swings (S120, S130), and outputs the drive signal to the fixing swing motor to restart swinging the fixing device when determined that the color shift correction has been completed (S110, S140). When the color shift correction is started, the swing of the fixing device is stopped to prevent damage or the like to a fixing belt due to a sheet passing through the same position on the fixing belt or the like of the fixing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
