<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball that is improved in controllability and hitting feeling while maintaining a flying distance of a driver shot. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a golf ball 2 which includes a core 7, an intermediate layer 8 arranged around the core 7, and a cover 12 arranged around the intermediate layer 8. The core 7 includes a center 4 and an enveloping layer 6 arranged around the center 4, and has a specific hardness distribution, and the intermediate layer 8 contains (A) denatured polyester elastomer and (B) binary ionomer resin, and is formed with an intermediate layer composition having a flexural modulus of 150-450 MPa, a loss coefficient (tanδ) of 0.08 or less at a maximum at -20 to 0°C, a repulsion elastic modulus of 55% or larger, and a slab hardness of 60-90 in terms of JIS-C hardness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
