<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Bacillus subtilis mutant, and target protein or polypeptide using the Bacillus subtilis mutant, achieving compatibility between decrease in lysis in culture and acceleration of secretion of the target protein or polypeptide to culture solution. <P>SOLUTION: In this Bacillus subtilis mutant, eight or more extracellular protease genes selected from epr, wprA, mpr, nprB, bpr, nprE, vpr, aprE and aprx are deleted or inactivated, and aslo one or more lytic enzyme related genes or gene clusters selected from cwlB, cwlF, PBSX, spoIIIC and sigD are deleted or inactivated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
