<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device capable of restraining overheating of a motor coil and a motor brush, while restraining reduction in a braking force. <P>SOLUTION: In this electric brake device, an electric brake actuator part includes a braking force detection unit for detecting actual braking force generated in a wheel and a motor temperature detection unit for detecting a motor temperature of an electric motor, and an electric control unit includes a request braking force arithmetic operation unit for arithmetically operating request braking force based on a brake operation quantity, a feedback control arithmetic operation unit for arithmetically operating control braking force by feeding back the actual braking force to the request braking force, a driving signal arithmetic operation unit for generating a driving signal of the electric motor based on the control braking force, an overheating protective mode determination unit for determining whether to transfer to an overheating protective mode of restraining the overheating of the electric motor based on a detecting result of the motor temperature detecting part, and an electric current variation quantity restraining correction unit for restraining an electric current variation quantity of an electric current supplied to the electric motor when it is determined to be the overheating protective mode by the overheating protective mode determination unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
