ROTARY ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electronic component which is capable of pivotally supporting a rotary knob (a rotor) in a reliable manner without rattling and also allows size reduction.

SOLUTION: A rotary electronic component comprises: a mounting base 150; a display member 30 which has a shaft 51 fixed on the mounting base 150 and a display 31 protruding outward in a radial direction from the shaft 51; a rotary knob 80 which is rotatably arranged between the mounting base 150 and the display 31; and detection means (a slider 120 and a slide-contact pattern 137) which changes output signals by the rotation of the rotary knob 80. A rotary engaging part 90 (made up of a display-side pivotally supporting part 33 and a rotor-side pivotally supporting part 87) which pivotally supports the rotary knob 80 in a rotatable manner is provided on the underside of the display 31.
