<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle that allows a seat to be lowered while securing cushioning property of the seat. <P>SOLUTION: A seat structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle 1 includes a vehicle body 10, and a seat 50 arranged above the vehicle body 10 for an occupant to sit on. The seat structure includes: an outer frame portion 51 including a through-hole 514 formed at least at a seating position 55 for the occupant to sit on, and left and right frame portions 511 arranged along left and right side surfaces of the vehicle; a seat skin 52 which has elasticity, and is fixed to the outer frame portion 51 while a predetermined tensile force is applied thereto, and is arranged to cover a portion facing the through-hole 514; recessed portions 515 which are formed in the left and right frame portions 511 and recessed toward the inside in a vehicle width direction; and a cushion member 53 which is arranged between the left and right frame portions 511 and the seat skin 52, on upper surfaces of the left and right frame portions 511 where at least the recessed portions 515 are formed, and on the outer side surface in the vehicle width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
