<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill processor and a bill processing method capable of preventing a bill supplied from the outside of a housing to the inside from being returned to the outside of the housing when the bill is identified as a counterfeit bill or an authenticity uncertain bill. <P>SOLUTION: A bill processor 10 comprises: a money receiving port 20 for supplying bills from the outside of a housing 12 to the inside; a conveyance part 24 provided inside the housing 12, for conveying the bills supplied into the housing 12 by the money receiving port 20 sheet by sheet; an identification part 26 provided in the conveyance part 24, for identifying at least the authenticity of the bills supplied into the housing 12 by the money receiving port 20; and a control part 50 for controlling the conveyance part 24 so as not to return the bill to the outside of the housing 12 when it is identified that the bill is not authentic by the identification part 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
