<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a honeycomb filter capable of enhancing the continuous regeneration performance. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb filter 20, with its one end opened and the other end sealed, is formed with a collection layer 24 for collecting/removing solid components included in fluid on a porous partition wall part 22 forming a plurality of cells 23 which becomes flow passages of the fluid. In the partition wall part 22 and the collection layer 24, at least the collection layer 24 has a catalyst. The invention forms a collection layer raw material and a catalyst material at the same time on the partition wall part 22 by contacting with a slurry including a collection layer raw material forming the collection layer and a catalyst material having a catalyst component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
