<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably process a video signal to be output for display by a display apparatus having a mode in which a resolution decreases in at least part of a display area. <P>SOLUTION: When a resolution vertically and horizontally decreases to 1/n_V and 1/n_H, a font that has a horizontal line width of n_V pixels or greater and a vertical line width of n_H pixels or greater is used. Alternatively, the size of the font is changed so that the horizontal line width is n_V pixels or greater and the vertical line width is n_H pixels or greater. Even if an increase in the number of viewpoints decreases the resolution, the font in which the horizontal line width is n_V pixels or greater and the vertical line width is at least n_H pixels or greater is displayed for right and left eyes, so that visual rivalry is prevented from occurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
