<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for performing update of a permission list without having to give an independent instruction for adding information to the permission list. <P>SOLUTION: An Internet communication part 205 in a relay server 2 receives a first response from an update management server 3. The first response includes an IP address of an image formation device 6 and a URL of a storage server. The Internet communication part 205 outputs the first response to a communication control part 204. The communication control part 204 acquires the first response from the Internet communication part 205. The communication control part 204 outputs the first response to a permission list control part 203. The permission list control part 203 acquires the first response from the communication control part 204. The communication control part 204 performs outputting for the permission list control part 203 if a URL is included in the first response from the update management server 3.
