<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cost reduction by achieving water and dust proofness with the use of a hard material. <P>SOLUTION: A display window A covering a display 10 comprises: a frame 1 which is provided with a display opening 1a facing a scale plate 11b and a flange 12b-1 (i.e., a display surface) of the display 10, and which is mounted to cover the display 10; a window plate 2 made of a transparent hard material; and a seal member 3 which is attached to the outer periphery of the window plate 2, and which is provided, along its outer periphery, with a first endless projection 3a pressure-welded to a frame inner surface 1e of the frame 1 and is also provided, on its undersurface, with a second endless projection pressure-welded to the scale plate 11b and the flange 12b-1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
