<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate toner consumption with high accuracy while enabling a first correction process for correcting image data by changing a target image density for an image formed on a printing medium, and a second correction process for correcting the image data for making the image density of the image formed on the printing medium equal to the target image density. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system 1 comprises: gradation correction processing parts 24 and 25 that perform the first and second correction processes; an image forming device 30 that forms an image on a printing medium based on image data subjected to first and second correction processes by the gradation correction processing parts 24 and 25; an image density count part 27 that obtains the number of pixels in an area where an image is formed by toner in the image data corrected by the first correction process; and a toner consumption calculation part 28 that calculates toner consumption based on the number of pixels obtained by the image density count part 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
