PURPOSE: A method for installing an ECP(electric cable pipe) cable on a deck is provided to install the ECP cable in a deck and deck house direction through the inside of a boatswain store with a stepped part higher than the deck. CONSTITUTION: A temporary hole connected to a boatswain store is formed on a forecastle deck. A winch is installed on the portside of a deck house. A cable roll is installed on the forecastle deck. A rope or wire connected to an ECP cable wound around the cable roll is connected to the winch through the temporary hole. The rope or wire is wound by the winch. The ECP cable is installed in a deck ECP box, the deck house and the inside of the boatswain store through the temporary hole.
