<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which can secure a fixing area enough for fixing an end plate to both ends in a fold crosswise direction of filter materials, and can fix them easily and firmly. <P>SOLUTION: Sheet-shaped filter materials 12 are formed in a ribbed state, and also an end plate 13 is fixed to both ends in a fold crosswise direction of the filter materials 12.
