<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which a change in quality generated on the steel surface is simply and accurately inspected. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for inspecting the change in the quality of steel having visible altered portions on the surface. A see-through possible thin file is formed along the steel surface, outlines of the altered portions on the steel surface are copied to the surface of the thin film, the thin film is removed from steel and developed, and areas of the portions surrounded by the outlines copied to the thin film are measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
