<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an effect of suppressing deterioration of developer. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus switches peripheral speed of a developing roller 3D from slow peripheral speed to normal peripheral speed by the time when developing of a photosensitive drum 3A is started at the latest, and switches peripheral speed of the developing roller 3D from normal peripheral speed to slow peripheral speed after the end of developing of the photosensitive drum 3A. Accordingly, the peripheral speed of the developing roller 3D is reduced during the time that is not directly involved in image formation, and therefore an effect of sufficiently suppressing deterioration of developer can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
