<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolating device for a building floor, which is compactly disposed between a floor beam and a floor material so that the floor level can be reduced, having a function for attenuating vibration in the vertical direction and high rigidity in the horizontal direction. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration isolating device 1 comprises a lower fixing table 10 to be fixed to a floor beam 2, an upper movable table 20 for installation of a floor material 3, and a vibration isolation material 30. The vibration isolation material 30 is formed from a plurality of cylindrical rigid bodies 31,.. and a plurality of cylindrical elastic bodies 32,.., which are alternately and integrally laminated in a concentric form with the central axes thereof arranged along the vertical direction. In the initial state before installation of the floor material 3, the top face 30a and the bottom face 30b of the vibration isolation material 30 have rising slopes from the inner peripheral portion toward the outer peripheral portion.
