<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine having a cooling liquid infused, in which temperature rise in an outlet side for the cooling liquid is suppressed so that a cooling target can be cooled by the cooling liquid in lower temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a rotator rotatably attached onto a rotation shaft; a stator fixed at a first frame arranged on an outer peripheral side of the rotator; and a second frame arranged in an outer peripheral side of the first frame. The second frame includes an infusion part for infusing a cooling liquid into an inner peripheral side. The first frame is provided with a protrusion part at which the liquid infused from the infusion part separates and runs into a first direction along with the rotation shaft and an opposite direction from the first direction. Consequently, the liquid infused from the infusion part and running between the first frame and the second frame is separated by the protrusion part, and forms a first channel through which the liquid runs toward the first direction and a second channel through which the liquid runs toward the opposite direction from the first direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
