<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which can suppress deformation of a press fitting hole caused by caulking and can externally fit an armature core to a shaft for fixation by securing sufficient holding force. <P>SOLUTION: An armature core 8 is formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic plates 11 each having a core body 9 and a plurality of teeth 12 extending from the core body 9 in the radial direction. The core body 9 includes: projections 35a projecting to one face side; recesses 35b arranged on the other face side to correspond to the projections 35a; and a press fitting hole 37 to which a shaft 3 is press-fitted and which has an approximately enneagon shape (polygonal shape) in axial plan view. The plurality of magnetic plates 11 are fixed by caulking parts 35 formed by caulking the projections 35a and the recesses 35b and are laminated. A top of a corner part 38 of the press fitting hole 37, the caulking part 35 and the tooth 12 are formed on the same straight line α, β, γ in the radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
