<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell type power generator which is easily switched with a commercial power source by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell type power generator 1 connected between a solar cell 2 and a load 10 comprises: a capacitor 3 and a secondary battery 4 for storing power from the solar cell 2; a charging/discharging control circuit 5 for the secondary battery, for controlling charging/discharging of the secondary battery 4; a secondary battery output voltage monitoring part 7 for monitoring an output voltage of the secondary battery 4; a DC/AC converter 8 connected to the secondary battery 4; an output voltage monitoring part 9 of the DC/AC converter 8; and a switch 11 connected between the DC/AC converter 8 and the load 10.
