<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembly adjustment of a thermal head on a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal head 31 is abutted on a print medium 20 conveyed on a conveying passage 18 through an ink ribbon 21. Ribbon guides 33, 34 which define a traveling path of the ink ribbon 21 are mounted on a heat generating part 13A of a head substrate 13 which generates heat, and a heat radiating body 12 on which the heat generating part 13A is fixed to radiate the heat. At that time, the ribbon guides 33, 34 are fixed to the heat radiating body 12 by mounting screws 35, 36 after a position of a guide part 41 is adjusted by a mounting adjustment part 42 so as to fit a depression angle of the ink ribbon 21 to a predetermined angle with respect to the print medium 20 based on the heat generating part 13A. Thereby, it is not necessary to adjust mounting positions of the ribbon guides 33, 34 in mounting the thermal head 31 on the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
