<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monovalent anion-permselective anion exchange membrane which is excellent in the property of selectively permeating monovalent anions in seawater concentration. <P>SOLUTION: In the monovalent anion-permselective anion exchange membrane for salt production, a graft-polymerized ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene film, which is obtained by generating radicals in an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene film through irradiation with ionized radiation and graft-polymerizing it by use of a polymerizable monomer having a functional group capable of introducing anion-exchange groups alone or a polymerizable mixture of the polymerizable monomer and a cross-linking monomer, is reacted with a compound reactable with the functional group capable of introducing at two sites or more the anion-exchange groups that the film has, whereby a cross-linked structure moiety by the compound is provided on the film by conducting reaction with a compound capable of forming the anion-exchange group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
