<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step of an escalator, manufacturable by a highly versatile manufacturing facility, and for easily repairing only a damaged part when a part of the step is damaged. <P>SOLUTION: This step of the escalator includes a plurality of laminated plate members having holes, bar-shaped members inserted into the holes of the plurality of laminated plate members and having screw holes in both end parts, and bolts for pressing both end plate members in the laminating direction among the plurality of laminated plate members by being fastened to the screw holes.
