<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle approach warning device in which pedestrians, bicycles and the like are detected and vehicle approach is notified to a target pedestrian or the like using sounds from a warning means. <P>SOLUTION: A control means (6) includes: an image processing means (6A) for extracting a specific target from an image captured by an imaging means (5) which images the surroundings of a vehicle; and a warning control means (6B) for controlling whether to issue a warning from warning means (8L and 8R) on the basis of the presence/absence of the specific target extracted by the image processing means (6A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
