LATCH AND EXTRACTOR FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch and extractor configured such that a module is mounted on a base so as to be removable for performing electric connection between the electronic parts of the module and the base.

SOLUTION: An electronic equipment module to be mounted on a base includes a latch/extractor assembly including: a module body; a metallic latch member having a spring arm, a shift member, and a latch; and an extractor configured so as to be engaged with the shift member for removing the latch from its engagement with the base.
