<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce luminance unevenness of a surface emitting light emitter. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitter 1 comprises: a first semiconductor layer 4A; and a second semiconductor layer 4B. The first semiconductor layer 4A and the second semiconductor layer 4B have compositions different from each other and form continuous layers. The first semiconductor layer 4A and the second semiconductor layer 4B are bonded with each other. Further, both surfaces facing composition surface of the first semiconductor layer 4A and the second semiconductor layer 4B are bonded to electrodes, respectively. Furthermore, between a juncture of the first semiconductor layer and the electrode, an insulator layer 5A having a plurality of holes that are arranged at a predetermined distance from one another in a surface direction and filled with conductors 6A2, respectively, is included.
