<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a motor allowing the increase of a region on which three phase currents of the motor can be estimated in the case of controlling the motor according to a two-phase modulation method. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for a motor comprises: a detector which uses a shunt resistance connected between a DC power source and an inverter to detect a busbar current; a control part which creates a three-phase PWM signal according to the two-phase modulation method based on the busbar current detected by the detector, and supplies the signal to the inverter; an estimation part which uses first and second carrier signals to generate a PWM signal of a first phase, a PWM signal of a second phase and a PWM signal of a third phase, and estimates a first phase current, a second phase current and a third phase current from the busbar current detected by the detector; and a creation part which uses the first phase current, the second phase current and the third phase current estimated by the estimation part to create a voltage command value of the first phase, a voltage command value of the second phase and a voltage command value of the third phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
