<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize the type of a charger connected to a connector while suppressing an increase in circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: A power detection circuit 12 detects an external feed to a VBUS terminal. A charger detection circuit 14 detects voltages at a DP terminal and a DM terminal to identify the type of a charger.
