<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly notify a stable rotational speed range by quickly displaying a stability limit chart by a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: A monitor device 10 of a vertical machining center 1 includes vibration sensors 7a-7c for detecting the vibrations generating due to machining, an FFT calculation part 11 for detecting the occurrence of chattering from the detected vibrations and calculating the frequency of the chattering, a stability limit chart calculation part 12 which calculates an optimum rotational speed based on the chattering frequency and the rotational speed, calculates an instable rotational speed based on the preset phase information by which the rotational speed becomes instable, prepares a stability limit chart between the optimum rotational speed and the instable rotational speed using an approximate curve, and displays the stability limit chart on a display part 16, and an NC device 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
