<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control charging and discharging of a lithium battery on the basis of an internal temperature and a terminal voltage, and to prevent expansion of a cell of the lithium battery. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium battery controller comprises: a lithium battery 1 which is charged from an external power source 2 and drives an electronic device 3; and a control circuit 4 which makes the external power source 2 stop the charging of the lithium battery 1 and makes the lithium battery 1 execute the drive of the electronic device 3 when the internal temperature is an internal temperature threshold or higher and the terminal voltage is a terminal voltage threshold or higher, and makes the external power source 2 execute the charging of the lithium battery 1 and makes the lithium battery 1 stop the drive of the electronic device 3 when the internal temperature is below the internal temperature threshold or when the terminal voltage is below the terminal voltage threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
