<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair catcher which allows for easy switching from a hair capturing state to a hair removing state, even in the state that the hairs captured at a drain port are intricately tangled with upper and lower comb teeth. <P>SOLUTION: A hair catcher comprises: a first comb-shaped member 2 having a plurality of slits 4 which are formed between a plurality of comb teeth 3 with openings on one end; a second comb-shaped member 5 having a plurality of slits 7 which are formed between a plurality of comb teeth 6 with openings on one end; and switching means which allows for switching between a hair capturing state in which the first comb-shaped member 2 and the second comb-shaped member 5 are vertically overlapped with the respective comb teeth 3 and 6 crossing in a lattice form in a plan view, and a hair removing state in which the first comb-shaped member 2 and the second comb-shaped member 5 are not vertically overlapped with the respective comb teeth 3 and 6 not crossing in a plan view.
