<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently extracting proteoglycan from an animal tissue to produce the proteoglycan suitable as a raw material for cosmetics, health foods, medicines and the like at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the proteoglycan includes a step of immersing an animal tissue containing the proteoglycan in a solution containing at least peracetic acid, and a step of recovering the solution after the immersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
