<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of uniformly judging quality within a short time period and capable of preventing the outflow of a defective product to stabilize quality, and an injection molding method. <P>SOLUTION: The injection molding machine 10 includes a mold 11 and a pressing mechanism 14 for pushing out resin to a surface of a part of the mold 11 coming into contact with the resin within the mold 11 by a pressing means 15 when the mold 11 is closed after the injection of the resin. The quality of the resin is judged on the basis of the pushing-out quantity of the pushing-out surface by the pressing mechanism 14.
